Where?

Sessions are held at the Pumpkin Patch in Hailsham, East Sussex. In their spacious sewing room above their shop. The shop below is filled to the brim with lovely fabrics and haberdashery for you to buy on the day if needed. There is free all-day parking nearby (see map below). There is a max. of six people per class so there is plenty of room for everyone to work freely with lots of space.

There are two irons and ironing boards available for use in the sewing room, as well as a cutting area with cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter for use. Refreshments are also provided throughout the day.

How to book?

To join the sewing fun and book onto a session, simply contact Emma via the website, Facebook, Instagram or email emmassewingsessions@gmail.com
 
Full payment is required when booking due to limited spaces. First come, first serve basis. A cancellation list will be made when a session is fully booked.
 

Cancellation policy –

If you are unable to make a session, please give at least one week’s notice so that Emma can make the space available to other people on the cancellation list. If your space is filled, the total payment will be transferred to a new date. If not, only 50% of the payment will be transferred to another more suitable date. If Emma cancels a session, your session fee will be carried over to a new date or you will be given a full refund.
 
What to bring?
Come and sew craft projects, bags, dressmaking… Simply let Emma know what you plan to make before the day. Bring along your project with any sewing equipment you may need. Such as scissors, pins, unpicker, thread etc. Although there will always be a communal sewing box available for use on the day. Owl and Sewing Cat patterns can also be available for use upon request, simply let Emma know what you would like to make in the class beforehand.
 
A limited number of sewing machines will be provided, simply let Emma know at the time of booking if you require a machine. If you are bringing your own, it must be PAT tested (the Pumpkin Patch offer a service for this.)
 
Join the sewing fun with like minded sewists, Emma the tutor will be on hand to help and has many years experience teaching sewing. Sessions are suitable for complete beginner

Victoria Road Car Park

Long stay located off George Street when going around the one-way system, there is a handy walkway to bring you into the Asda car park and straight into the Pumpkin Patch.

Vicarage Lane Car Park

Long stay located behind the Freedom Leisure Centre.

South Road Car Park

Long stay located a little further away in South Road, usually passed as you enter Hailsham from Eastbourne.
